I am sick and tired of an administration running amuck with our country and constitution.
I am sick and tired of an administration that has left our people to languish in the aftermath of natural disasters.
I am sick and tired of an administration that allowed our bravest after 9/11 to now be riddled with illness from the very air they were told was safe to breathe.
I am sick and tired of an administration that has sent over 3,500 of our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partners and friends to give their lives for a war sold to us on the backs of lies and deception.
Now that the BBQs are cool, the beer has stopped flowing and the fireworks no longer dazzle the sky it is time for this country to truly exert its independence and demand that this detrimental administration succumb to subpoenas and finally have to answer for its corrupt behavior.
President Bush let Scooter Libby, the one man who was convicted for the lies around the Iraq war, go free. And the obstruction of justice doesn't stop there. The Senate recently subpoenaed documents from the Vice President's office around the ILLEGAL wiretapping program and he has not complied. This administration believes it is above the law and continues to spit in the very face of democracy. This is un-American, and it's time for a non-partisan Congress to hold them accountable.
Vice President Cheney must respond to his subpoenas. If he doesn't, Congress HAS to begin impeachment proceedings against him.
The words of Keith Olbermann, a man who is as fed up with this corrupt administration as I am. I challenge anyone to argue with the points made in this short piece. The caustic stink of this administration will be on this country for years but it is up to the people to regain control from this maniacal faction of extremists in this republican party.
