Hey All!
Well, I am in beautiful Miami! It is gorgeous! Except for a hotel mix up it's been a great stay. I am here solo until later today when the Blue Tooth Tour people get here. So just relaxing by the water and getting some sun.
Wanted to now announce that Robb and my T-shirts are available and will be launched on the site in the next week or so. You can start pre-ordering your shirts now at:
www.wesculwell.com/rsquared.htm
Just talked to Gay.com as well. The stats are through the roof. The funny thing is my story got edited because it was too racey!!! :)
See the story at:
Boy Meets World!
I love it! I will be posting the three missing slides here on wesculwell.com when I get back to California. Keep checking back!
All the best!

Well, there is one thing for sure I have inherited from my mother's side...and that's insomnia! :) I was lying bed just awake so I decided to actually get some work done on the site.
Also, I have just been glowing post Matthew Shepard Foundation Gala. It was such a wonderful experience full of laughter, love and community. Matthew's legacy really does live on in every event the Foundation creates and every message that they send out. Here is a snapshot from the evening right before we had to rush in and get things started.
This is Judy Shepard, Chris Maluk(Director of Development) and me with my bear, Bette Middler's Bear and Elton John's.
I am actually going to try to get some sleep...
Nite.

PS. Some good news about Rhea County. The Attorney General shot down their little plot of hate. Score one for Tennessee!
Hey All!
Things have been crazy last couple of days. The Matthew Shepard Foundation Gala was absolutely FANTASTIC. I have to say it was by far the highlight of this last year. Meeting Judy was so wonderful and the entire staff of the foundation really are such inspirational people.
I have been a little under the weather post trip and am still catching up for being gone / traveling for over a week. I will fill in the fun trip details later this week.
The response to the headshots for sale was overwhelming and we are sending them out as fast we can. Look for the online store to be up and running again once we catch up. We should have all the orders filled by the end of the month.
All the best!

Hey All!
In San Fran and the weather is absolutely AMAZING. I forgot how much I love this city when it's not fogged in a 45 degrees!
I had to log on and share this with you all. At first it is laughable and then you realize how much work we really have to do as a movement.
Rhea County in Tennessee has approved 8-0 a request to lawmakers to amend state law to charge homosexuals with, "crimes against nature."
This are also looking at ways to ban homosexuals from even living in Rhea County. Can you imagine being an LGBT youth, or an adult for that matter, living in this county and being so afraid of being yourself that you could possibly be removed from your family and / or county?? This is absolutely ridiculous.
You might think that this could never happen but people it IS Tennessee. I will have more information on how to flood this Commissioner J. C. Fugate's email box ASAP.
Let the games begin!!

Hey All!
The interview yesterday was crazy in SD. I ended up getting lost on the way to the studio. Haha! I finally got there at 7:24 am to be on at 7:25 am. I seriously walked in, got the mic, sat down gave my shpiel and was out the door. It was crazy but I'm pretty confident I got my points across.
I leave tomorrow for San Fran which I can not wait for. I haven't been back up there for over a year. My first boyfriend was in San Francisco and I used to go up on the weekends when I was living in Monterey. I can't wait to see everyone up there again.
Then it's on to Denver. The Matthew Shepard event is going to be such an amazing evening. The line up is stellar. Counting the days...
Had a great night out with my best friend Kory down in San Diego and my friend and FAVORITE bartender at Rich's San Diego took this pic with his camera phone.
All the best!

Gooood Morning!
Busy day here on the West Coast. I am currently putting together my messages for the Matthew Shepard Foundation Gala, "Bear to Make a Difference," next week. I am very excited! I can't wait to meet Judy Shepard. She is such an inspiration and an amazing advocate. If you haven't yet, definitely stop by MatthewShepard.org and see the wonderful things the Foundation is doing.
Also, a trip to Miami is in the works at the end of this month through the beginning of April. Looks like I may be filming a pilot. Still working on the details but should be a kicka** trip none-the-less.
Had an interesting morning yesterday in San Diego. I was invited by Fox News to come on and discuss Marriage Equality. I was quite surprised when in the segment before mine their entertainment guru (who, by the way, was sitting on a phone book because he was so short) asked, "Why is it every time you have to show a blip on gay marriage you have to show guys kissing? I'm sorry beards on beards just don't work" (Issues much Webster?) So much for balanced and unbiased! I knew I was in for a real treat.
What I thought was going to be a nice easy bullet point of the pros of Marriage Equality turned into a respectful ambush by the lead male anchor. Thankfully I have been fighting for LGBT marriage rights since Prop 22 back in '99/'00. I think he was caught a bit off guard that he wasn't going to railroad me into silence. He had the same argument over and over and I just kept offering information. I had a great time. It will be interesting if we have a second round as the issue becomes more heated.
All the best!

"San Francisco here I come...Right back where I started from..."
Ok well, I didn't really start there...More like Monterey which was 2 hours south...Ok, well not really even Monterey but Salinas...But no one's ever really heard of Salinas...Soooo...
Haha, anywho I am headed up to San Fran for an event benefiting HRC. As our political climate gets more and more dramatic we must get behind our nonprofits out there fighting the good fight. The only problem I am seeing is that there are too many groups fighting individually and not together. My hope is that soon all of these little hotspots of political activity will conflagrate into one huge political fire that will win our battle for equality.
If you are up in the SF area come and support this event--here is the information.
Concannon Vineyard and I will be hosting a 5 course meal in celebration of the founder of Concannon Vineyard (an Irish immigrant - Happy St. Patrick's Day!) benefiting HRC. See the front page for time and location or call:

for reservations / info.
Happy Monday!
