Where to even begin! Sorry it's been a while since the last post. Things here in NY have been full speed. An update on the foot...after about 4 weeks of pysical therapy I am just about back to normal. Stairs and running are still a but sticky but I am just about fully mobile...just in time for AIDS Walk NY. We are about 2 weeks out to the campaign and we're all getting feverish in the office. I am dealing with the city, permits, parks department...you name it. It's a crazy thing to shut down New York City for a day!

Since the last post I had the chance to see Carol Channing. It was absolutely brilliant. Just to hear the stories of someone who is not only a legend herself but was intimate friends with all these cornerstones of entertainment was just fantastic! At 70-something the notes were tough coming but her performance was just as dead on with her larger than life smile and insane monologues.

Another fun night out was running out to Milburn, NJ to the Papermill Playhouse to see Steven Shwartz's, "The Baker's Wife." My friend Max von Essen plays Dominique and DAMN can this boy sing. I met Steven Shwartz at the Wicked goodbye party for Idina Menzel and Joey Mcintyre a few months ago and ran into him in the lobby out at the Papermill during, "The Baker's Wife," opening night. "Hey...Wes...how are you? Can I ask you something...what brings you out to New Jersey?" Haha, that's the first time I've ever been asked that question...and my first time to New Jersey. I let him know I was there supporting Max and we chitchatted about what we've both been up to. "The Baker's Wife," is a fun show with a sweet ending. This man is freakin' talented.

Looks like I'm headed to Nove Scotia and Ottawa in June with a few more trips in between. As I'm sure some of you may have read I am starting up my own little Gay and Lesbian adventure travel company. Our next event is going to be white water rafting up in Canada it looks like. You can get more information at www.xtours.net.

Thanks for all the emails about Love Lounge. It was a lot of fun and keep checking the VH1 site for showtimes.

All the best!

FINALLY! The cast is off and so am I! Well, off as in hobbling around with a cane. I've started physical therapy and am on my way to full recovery. It's been a crazy ordeal but the fact I can get around the city again is fantastic.

One step at a time...

Had an great weekend. One of my best friends was out from California. It couldn't have been more perfect. We did just enough touristy stuff (all the things I've been putting off) and saw some amazing theatre. I won the Wicked lottery but only one ticket. I gave her mine and ran over and saw the new play, "The Pillowman." Absolutely amazing. One of my favorite actors is Billy Crudup and he is mindblowing in this play. It's a bit dark but definitely woth the 2+ hours in the dark. Also caught Avenue Q - which my friend Howie is on. We met him back stage and explored the set. Then ran over to meet another friend Marty (www.martythomas.com) who's in Wicked to give my friend Julie a tour backstage of the show. She was in heaven.

Other than that - 4 weeks until AIDS Walk NY. Things are really getting crazy. Headed to Toronto in June it looks to do a guest spot on a show and VH1's, "Love Lounge," is going full force. The next episode is this Thursday and 11pm.

All the best,

Hey All!

Well, the contrast doesn't get any greater. From 85 degrees and beatiful ocean breezes to 30 degrees and sleet. Oy! New York City. Haha - Miami was an amazing time, crutches and all, and now I am back home getting settled into my one legged routine. It's shocking what a different city NY is on crutches.

This past week has been fantastic. AIDS Walk NY is really picking up. You can start registering online for the 20th annual walk in May at www.aidswalk.net. I also had the chance to go to the GLAAD Media Awards on Monday with Judy Shepard. It was a wonderful event and I got to catch up with a lot of friends. Billy Crystal was hilarious and Alan Cummings (the night's two main honorees) gave a speech that was amazing, political, heated and inspirational. I was really blown away by his passion.

Love Lounge is in full force and I think one of the episodes we shot is coming up April 4th, High Infedelity. Sophie B. Hawkins, MC Lite and the adorable, For Love or Money couple. Should be fun...

All the best!
