With the marathon on the last two days there have been a crazy influx of messages. It's great to hear everyone is still enjoying the show-It's crazy to think we taped it over a year ago. I had a wonderful time with the show and it's an experience I will never forget.
Some of the cast is still in contact but it has been over a year and most of us have gone on to different projects and the questions that have been pouring in the last week are... ..."Whatever happened to...You and James, Andra, the rest of the boys...etc., etc."
James and I remained in contact post show but a romance never took off. As is the formula to most of the reality TV shows. ;) There were rumors about boyfriends pre-show, drama and coverups most of which were not at all true. Last account James is in New York in a play called, "My Big Gay Italian Wedding." I think it is absolutely fantastic that James has gone after his dream of pursuing theatre in New York. I wish him all the luck in his post show aspirations.
We never did take our trip to New Zealand - I am heading to Costa Rica in November with Allyson Adventures who sponsored the original New Zealand trip.
I took about a year post show to travel and support different LGBT non-profits and colleges around the country. From The Matthew Shepard Foundation to The Trevor Project to HRC it was a great year of travel and meeting people. I was lucky enough to parlay that into becoming a travel correspondent for Out and About magazine. Currently I am working with AIDS Walk Los Angeles for their 20th Annual Campaign.
Franklin seems to be MIA. I did see Franklin at The Grove (an outdoor mall in LA) about 6 months back. He looked great and we had a few laughs about Boy Meets Boy. Other than that I haven't seem around.
Last I spoke with Andra she was in New York with Robb mumbling something about Toni Ferarri, LA Pride and something about having her back. Haha, I still have no idea what she was talking about-she had been drinking...enough said.
Dani Behr (Host) has had a fruitful career post show hosting other...uh...interesting reality TV series as, "Strip School," and Fox's, "World's Littlest Groom." Dani, "The World's Littlest Groom?"
The lovely Robb (or Robuhbuh) is living in New York working for Estee Lauder being as fabulous as ever. I get the updates of parties, people and places. I think he has truly blossomed on the East Coast.
Brian H., the fantastic Brian H.! He is such a sweetheart. He is still at Here in West Hollywood and working with Fox. It's great seeing him when I get over to WeHo to catch up. He is looking better than ever- I mean BETTER than ever! Aye Dios Mio!
Dan's career really took off post BMB. He landed a pilot, Gilmore Girls and rumors are he just landed a gig on Days of Our Lives. You can see more of Dan at http://www.danwells.com. Yes, he's really straight.
Last I saw Michael (eyebrows / abs /straight) he was representing Gay Fuel in the parade for LA Pride...Hmmm.
I see Jason and Chris (from episode 1) when I head down to San Diego. Jason is doing great post military and Chris is appearing in a series of ads for Rooster Gear.
From what I understand Darren is working on a new reality TV show as a carpenter. Didn't hear what show or what channel but sounds like a good gig.
And that's about it post BMB. I haven't seen the other guys much since the finale party. The rumors are still circulating regarding BMB II but I have not heard anything concrete in the last few months. I think the gay reality TV craze is over--which may actually be a good thing. ;)
Hope that answers most your questions.
All the best!

Hey All.
I am sending out a quick blog today.
I guess you could call this a national plea.
We have lost out water sponsor here at AIDS Walk LA and are in need of water...LOTS of water.
If anyone out there has any connections or contacts with water distributors, companies, bottlers, etc...etc...You can send a note to wes@wesculwell.com.
It's the 20th Annual Walk - so the return on exposure / visibility of the support would be great this year.
Thanks for any leads you can send my way.
All the best!

HOT OFF THE PRESS!!
Well, I got the most wonderful phonecall this weekend. I was down in San Diego watching the dog for my sister and taking Luc down to see the sites...etc...etc... and my sister called.
"Hey Wes. Well, I didn't get married in Vegas."
"Ok..."
"I got engaged!"
I couldn't believe it! I couldn't be happier for her!!!! It's such a weird thing to think of my sister getting married. The first time I saw my sister with her fiance I thought that it would happen but it's crazy to think that it's official
I love Kent and am looking forward to having him as part of our family. And then there were 5...well, that is until I find my husband. ;) And who knows...maybe it will be legal in more than ONE state by then!
You can catch my sis, Kelly, on The Discovery Channel again, August 14th at 6pm EST, "Special Delivery." I'm just waiting for my Mom to sign up for a show. "Mother's of Reality TV Personalities." I can see it now. Hmmm...I think I have a pitch!
Me and my sis celebrating her end of residency
All the best.

AYE DIOS MIO!
Ok - well add fire back to the list! I got home from a wonderful time in DC to be met with 6 fire trucks and about 30 firemen. No, it's not that kind of movie! The building where I work downtown LA caught fire. Here I am groggy eyed - from a cross country flight and the streets are caution taped off and my entire office is sitting out in the courtyard waiting to hear the verdict. Day off? Or...
Well, I guess they caught it in time and it was contained on the 16th floor. We got in after a few hours of drinking coffee and waiting downstairs. Turns out they suspect foul play. Isn't the US at Orange or is it Red and what the hell do those colors mean anyways?!
My friend Luc arrived from Paris yesterday so it's been fun showing him around. For those of you who read the gay.com articles, he's the Frenchy I met in Key West.

The language barrier continues to prove interesting and I think the highlight of the trip thus far was watching him try to order at Subway. Awww - between the guy's Spanish and broken English and Luc's French and broken English, it was a riot--a nightmare--but a riot. ;)
Back to it.
