Oklahoma City...Seriously...WHO KNEW! I had such an amazing time in Oklahoma City. I had only planned on coming in and staying Friday night and leaving 1st thing Saturday morning, but it was way too much fun. The event for Cimarron was really well done. Didn't know what to expect beyond the website but it was one of the few nonprofits I've seen include the LGBT Youth community so well.

I was amazed at how passionate and tight-knit this community is. I really can't imagine having to fight the daily fight living in such a conservative state and city. The fact they are out there every day is very inspirational and I tip my hat to the entire city of OKC.

I met a wonderful assortment of people from actors, to filmmakers, to politicians, to Ms. Gay America herself(who knew she lived in OKC? Better yet who knew there was a Ms. Gay America! :) )and on and on and on. Amazingly friendly people and gorgeous weather. I'd hate to see it in December though. ;)

At one point, I left my 50 cents in a pay phone at the hotel and walked off forgetting. A business man of about 40 tracked me down across the lobby and said, "Excuse me Sir, you forgot your quarters."

Now that's Oklahoma City!
Haha - I did have to share this. This is from a recent Orange County trip. One of the funniest nights of my life. Can you tell who the girl in the middle is... 9021??

Hey was checking out the site and for some reason this weekend isn't showing on the main page.

I am heading to Oklahoma City. It should be a lot of fun. You can check out the link at:

Cimarron Alliance Foundation of Oklahoma

This is amazing group that has dedicated itself to education and awareness in Oklahoma. Living on the coasts its easy to forget that many states out there don't even have basic work / housing rights.

A full report on Oklahoma City when I get back. ;)

All the best!

Where to even begin. From DC Pride to LA Pride. The experience on both coasts could not have been more different. HAHA! For those of you who know what I'm talking about - OY VAY! The lessons you learn. Sometimes the best intentions and having your heart in the right place just comes back to bite you right in the ass.

DC Pride was absolutely wonderful. The festival was amazing, the people were great and I even got to squeeze a Madonna concert into my 24 Hours. The staff at Capital Pride were just fabulous. It couldn't have been more fun!

LA Pride was interesting to say the least. ;) AIDS Walk did VERY well. We pulled in just about 1,000 walkers. I got to work the last AIDS Walk booth shift of the festival and we pulled in the most signatures. I wonder what could have spurned that?? Thank God for scandal and drunk, lesbian MCs! HAHA! Again, for those of you who know what I'm talking about...The lessons you learn. ;)

What a fabulous last week. I headed out to the premiere of Delovely in Los Angeles with my friend Jeffrey Epstein and had mixed feelings about the film. The cast was wonderful and the red carpet included Ashley Judd, Kevin Kline, Jessica Alba, Carrie Fisher, a few more random celebrities and PHYLLIS DILLER! Haha! Who knew she was still alive!

One of the reporters asked her how she felt about the film exposing Cole Porter's homosexual tendencies when he was married for over 20 years and she said,

"You know there are such things as bisexuals in this world!" and walked off. God love Phyllis Diller!

The film itself did tell the story of Cole Porter but I was extremely disappointed in the way they presented his sexuality. His "gayness" was always the problem keeping him from the true love of his life, Linda. I guess I would have liked to see some validity to at least one of his homosexual relationships. But then again, maybe he had none.

Just got in from DC Pride - a whirlwind trip in and out in 24 hours. I'm exhausted. More on DC later.

Haha! I cannot even keep up with my own life I love it! Yesterday was a blast. We finished taping three episodes of the new VH1 series, "Smokin' Hot Talk." It was interesting to say the least. To hear Sophie B. Hawkins scream, "Mother Fucker!" was probably one of the highlights of the day!

The show begins airing in early July. We'll keep you updated. The big news is ... Back to the West Coast I go. I will be working with MZA Events to help produce AIDS Walk Los Angeles. I will be the Community Organizer for the Los Angeles campaign. So back to LA I go. I can't seem to escape that city! I am really looking forward to the new gig!

I spent Saturday with my friend, singer / songwriter Angelo D'Agostino at Disneyland. It truly is the HAPPIEST place on earth. My next travel article includes part of this so I won't go into too much detail but I will include a video clip from our day. Ohhhhh how we both want to be Snow White!
