Hello Everyone! Oy! Monday mornings!
This weekend was fantastic. Outfest was a total success and we had a blast! I covered the opening film, Girls Will be Girls. What a camp, crazy piece of cinema! We had the chance to interview Jack Plotnick, Miss Coco Peru and a whole list of other characters (including one of the actor's parents here from NY who were a riot). Other than that it was great heading out on the town again with all my friends. It's only been a week but I still miss 'em. :)
Some great news and travel updates. We have jus been booked to appear at Northeastern University in Boston. Genesis (from the Real World Boston), Ruthie (from the Real World Hawaii), Neil (from Freshman Diaries) and I will be speaking October 28, with Rainbow Campus Tours. It will be a discussion panel so if you are in the Boston area please swing by and say hello! If you'd like to have us or any of the Rainbow Campus Tours come to your college, drop me a line and I will put you in touch with RCT.
Thanks you guys for all the guestbook signatures. I am working through all the emails. My goal is to try and get 10 done a day so keep checking your inbox! :)
More updates and appearance schedules to come!
All the best! -W

Wow...a lot to update everyone on. Hmmm... Well, here I am currently back in San Diego. I thought I moved to LA to do more work and here I am driving back to SD, in my fabulous Chevy Malibu. Why you ask? :) To cover OutFest San Diego. I will be there on the red carpet (Haha, well, as red carpet as SD gets) interviewing the actors, directors, etc. from this weekend's festival. And I am VERY excited to share that the one and only Miss Coco Peru will be there promoting her new film, "Girls Will be Girls". We bumped into each other last night at Here in West Hollywood so it should be a very fun interview. So, if you are near San Diego, come out and support Gay Independent Film! www.outfest.org
I will be appearing (well speaking) on the Michelangelo Signorile Show, broadcast nationally via Sirius Satellite Radio this Friday, September 26 at 11:14am (PST) / 2:14pm (ET). Michelangelo Signorile is an amazing journalist so I am very excited to be a part of the show.
Also, pick up a copy of TV Guide and Instinct this week. James and I have a blip in the "other reality TV couples". It's a great time in TV when they include the gay coupling right with everyone else...as it should be. :) One step at a time. Also Instinct covered The Queer Eye Party when the boys were in town so take a peek at that spread as well. Some fun pictures of the Boy Meets Boy crew.
Check back soon!

Hey Everyone! Finally settled and back online. Sorry it's been a few days since my last post. It's been a fantastic CRAZY last couple of days. Haha, let me just tell you the move up here was ridiculous! The U-Haul we rented (next time I am hiring movers!) ended up not having dashboard lights, so in order to tell how fast I was going I had to strap on a maglight to the steering wheel so it would shine on the speed-o-meter. It kept falling off and rolling around the floor creating a mini light show every time we'd hit a bump or dip. The passenger door was so loose from the frame, my friend Kory could literally put his hand between the door and the frame...when the door was closed! There was no antenna so we were forced (and welcomed) to listen to the comings and goings of the random Spanish radio shows that sporadically would show up on the drive north. Anyhow, the fact that I am here and slowly getting unpacked makes me ecstatic!
As for the last week of events. The Gay Days kickoff party at TigerHeat was a total blast. If you haven't got your tickets yet www.gayday2.com. I met a lot of the planning committee / personalities for Gay Days, including the ever engaging Momma, Alexis and the fabulous columnist Billy Masters.
The highlight of the weekend was, of course, The Emmy's. We attended the HBO post Emmy party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. (Thanks Jeffrey!) It was fantastic. It was great to see how many people enjoyed Boy Meets Boy and had 1001 questions. I met some amazing people and saw a LOT of little statues and even got a nod from Carson on my apparel choice for the night. Haha! Now that I've got my first weekend in Hollywood out of my system, it's time to get to work.
Thanks for all your emails and keep checking back. New pictures to be added soon!

Well, let's see. It's about 11pm and yet here I am still in San Diego... Why you ask? Haha! Don't even get me started on today. Two words: Murphy's Law. But no worries, tomorrow is a new day and I should be up and going bright and early. If you see a U-Haul running up the 5 N tomorrow, on it's way to LA, wave...It may be me. ;)
For this week, my friend Jai (Culture - Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) is heading to town for the Emmy awards. We will be popping up at TigerHeat this Thursday, Sept. 18th, to see some friends and to support the official kick off party for the 6th Annual Gay Days - Disneyland (October 5th - www.gayday2.com). So if you are around stop by. It should be a lot of fun! Thanks for all the hits you guys!!Trrrouble is coming soon!
*Also, I hear James and I are in US Weekly this week. It's supposedly a cute little article and a photo of us from New York. I still have to pick one up.* :)

Hey all! The NGLJA event was a lot of fun and absolutely hectic. There were about 300 journalists all tucked away in the back bar of the Abbey and James and I answered a LOT of questions both on and off the"record." There were also appearences by Ted (Queer Eye Fame)and the fabulous Wilson Cruz. (My So Called Life / Rent) Ted, James and I did an interview for www.outofthecloset.tv so check for the interview but you'll need real player. I'm off to pack - the big move to LA is Monday. All the best...

Next up, I will be at the Abbey, 692 North Robertson Blvd. West Hollywood, 310-855-9977, tonight with James for our first public appearance post show. We will be attending a private party for the NGLJA (The National Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Journalism Association) Conference being held in Los Angeles this weekend. It should be a lot of fun and it's all journalists so I can't wait for all the delving "questions." :)
To all the victims, families and friends of 9/11 - our thoughts are with you.
